I purchased this to help with conditioning my dog, Freyja (black lab), for field trials. This has been a bit of a game changer in static position changes off a step or on a step (as in, Freyja's front or back end are elevated as we do transitions between stand to drop and back). The bottom has little rubber caps, which prevent slippage, and the target is a good size for dog paw pads. I will be purchasing a second bar ASAP because this is such an amazingly versatile and safe tool.
I purchased this to help my dog, Freyja (black lab), with conditioning during the field trial season. With an active dog, its important to set then up for success as you would with any human athlete. I'm really pleased with the set up, we're still training it together, but I'm noticing improvement with foot placement and agility even after only a few weeks. I highly recommend this product. It is both affordable and easy to use. I'm very happy with my purchase.
